Denise Jackson is a native of Peoria. She attended Richwoods High and went on to Bradley University, graduating in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Denise has been with WEEK since1999, and is currently a reporter, as well as News 25 Weekend co-anchor. Previously, Denise was a news anchor for WWNY-TV, Watertown, New York. She has also worked for various radio and television stations, in addition to the local newspaper The Traveler. Denise serves on the board of directors of the Tri-County Urban League and the YMCA Invest in Youth Campaign 2000, and is active in her church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, aerobics, and traveling.
