Josh Simon was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He came to Peoria in 1994 to attend Bradley University. During college he interned at KCNC-TV with former 25 sportscasters Les Shapiro and Tim Perkins. Josh joined News 25 in September of 1997 as a part-time editor. After earning his communications degree in 1998, he became a news photographer and the unofficial fourth member of the sports department. In July of 2003, Josh officially joined the sports department. When he isn't working at the station he serves as the Youth Program Director at Congregation Anshai Emeth. In what little free time he has Josh enjoys playing golf and watching sports.
