Meet Central Illinois' biggest James Bond fan. Chuck Collins is Chief Meteorologist for WEEK & WHOI. Give him the slightest provocation and he will regale you with trivia and expertise regarding his hero, 007. Chuck is not licensed to kill, but his weather forecasts are right on the mark.

Chuck was born in Cairo, IL and grew up in Marquette Heights. He is a graduate of Lakeland College and the Mississippi State Broadcast Meteorology program. Prior to joining WEEK-TV in 2009, Chuck was at WMBD-TV for 23 years with the last 10 years as Chief Meteorologist and also worked at radio stations in Mattoon, Sullivan, Danville, Chillicothe, Pekin, Morton, and Peoria. He is a member of the American Meteorological Society, the National Weather Association, and the Illinois News Broadcasters Association.

Chuck holds broadcasting seals of approval from the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association (NWA). He's a 3 time winner of the Illinois Broadcaster's Association Silver Dome award for best downstate television weather.

Besides James Bond trivia, Chuck's hobbies include fast pitch softball, home improvement, and listening to early 70's soul music. Chuck and his wife have a son, Ian.
