Rachael Parker owner of Sweet Cakes by Rachael has been baking cakes since 1987. She first started baking and decorating as a hobby. That hobby turned into doing cakes for family, then friends and then strangers. it was then that Sweet Cakes by Rachael was born.

    May I have a customized menu?

    Absolutely. As long as the menu is something I can accommodate, I will be happy to work with you on a custom menu. I mean it when I say I offer personal service. You do not have to choose a cookie cutter menu.

    Do I have to pay for my cake advance?

    A $50.00 non refundable “save the date” deposit is required on the day the cake is booked. That $50.00 is applied to the balance of your cake.

    Does the cake shape determine the cost of the cake?

    The shape of the cake does not determine the cost.

    Do you do more casual wedding meals, such as hot sandwiches or pasta?

    Yes. Although the meat, starch, vegetable, etc. meals tend to be more traditional, I like creating a menu that is perhaps a bit different that the norm. It is fun to be creative and do something different. I have actually served a lot of lasagna at weddings. I love to cook and love to try new dishes.
