Walgreens and Take Care Clinics Offer Free Blood Glucose and A1C Testing

Walgreens and Take Care Clinics are offering free blood glucose and A1C testing at more than 1,700 stores nationwide as part of American Diabetes Month®. The free diabetes health testing events are offered at most 24-hour Walgreens stores and Take Care Clinic locations Nov. 12 and 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Walgreens and Take Care Clinics conducted free blood glucose testing in November 2009 as well as last February. More than 200,000 people were tested during these prior events, with more than 25 percent testing at-risk for diabetes.
