Residents of the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area community and community organizations with an interest in the development of the management plan for the National Heritage Area are encouraged to attend an upcoming workshop to help craft the best management plan possible to submit to the secretary of the interior.

Each community has a unique story to tell and unique places for visitors to enjoy that can provide a complete look at Lincoln's life in Illinois. This is THE opportunity for community leaders and business owners to come together to chart a plan to submit to be a part of the Lincoln National Heritage Area management plan. This might be our only opportunity to do so! In the end, the communities involved will benefit from job creation and new tourism revenue, as well as a renewed sense of pride about their role in Lincoln's heritage. Please join us for this community meeting.
