The McLean County Museum of History will present the final in a series of special presentations, Parigyaan, The Ever-Changing Constant of Indian Music: Origin, History and Evolutions.
about the history of Indian music Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The partnership with the McLean County India Association and the Indian Music Society of Central Illinois aims to further educate the public about the history, origins and different styles, including vocal traditions that make up the rich heritage of Indian music. There will be discussion as well as performances on various traditional instruments.
