The Four Directions Healing Foundation, an educational organization made up of American Indian people, from many states and tribes, and their friends will share genuine culture from their tribal backgrounds. This is a one of a kind opportunity for Central Illinois to learn about Native American culture from actual Native American people from a host of different tribes. There will be Native American speakers, drum and dance demonstrations, storytellers, ceremony, music, dancing, children’s learning time, food, vendors and much more. Jamie Russell of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma will present a special concert.

Possible participants include: Mel Grey Owl, Jamie Russell, Spirit of the Rainbow Drum, Adam Danner, Fred Shaw, Jo Lakota, Adrienne Trevathan, Phyllis Singing Bird, Randy Tuttle, Carol Lakota Eastin, Eliida Lakota, Danira Parra, Lionel Little Eagle Pinn, Gary Billiot, Tom John, and Dennis Weaver.

The Chillicothe Park District is thanked for their support. Admission is free.
