Citizens Against Substance Abuse (CASA) coalition is hosting an Emerging Trends Summit on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm located at the Kenneth H. Maurer Performing Arts Center at Metamora Township High School.
The main speaker for the night will be Rene Sandoval from the Peoria Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group. He will be educating the community about the different trends that are available to students and what every parent should know. A parent from Woodford County is going to speak about her daughter’s experience with synthetic drug use and Vickie Lewis from Illinois Institute of Addiction and Recovery will be talking about treatment for these trends. We hope you will join us to become knowledgeable with the peer pressures your student faces and educate yourself about the trends you might not be aware of.
