Suminagashi, which means “floating ink” in Japanese, is a form of marbling made by floating ink on water and using paper to pick up the ink, creating beautiful swirling designs. We’ll try our hand at making our own. (Be sure to dress appropriately for a messy activity).

This activity is part of the Teen Summer Reading Program.
