The Galesburg Civic Art Center is pleased to feature our popular annual Members and Friends Exhibition. The show includes recent works by members and friends of the Art Center. Painting, sculpture, print making, photography, quilts, metal work, and many other kinds of media will be included. The exhibition is sponsored by Bates Collision Center and Dr. Reuel and Kathy Owen.

Awards and prizes will be presented by this year's judge, Susie Richardson, an area artist. Ms. Richardson attended Carl Sandburg College concentrating on welding, drawing, ceramics, and design. Susie has worked with several mediums, themes, and styles over the years. The range includes ceramics, painting, sculpture, jewelry, folk art, sign painting and even specialty custom made designs. While being active with her own art, Susie has also become involved with the fine arts in Galesburg as well as the surrounding vicinity. Susie has also been influencing many aspiring artists through workshops and school programs for the past several years.
