Every Friday morning Mark And Gretchen introduce you to three animals from TAPS (Tazewell Animal Protective Society) in Pekin. TAPS is a no-kill shelter that gives animals a home until permanent homes can be found. These animals are here for many reasons. Some have been abused or neglected; their owners have to move, they become ill or can't afford to take care of the animals; and some animals are simply strays. Every animal is spayed/neutered and is up-to-date on their shots.
Since 2006, more than 500 dogs and cats featured on Best Friends Friday have been adopted! Tune into HOI-19 News Daybreak between 5-7am every Friday to see the latest animals needing a loving home.
