WOW... what a week!!!!
Monday started with the water challenge of how many laps you can run in the Lazy River.. AGAINST the current. I was looking forward to this challenge because I did 22 laps with the current last year.
Wow, it was tougher than I remember, and the workout Maggie (our trainer) put us through after was equally challenging. It was my first time doing push-ups on a kick-board. Wednesday brought an upper arms and cardio workout by Dave (our other trainer) that made a 9 lb. bar feel like 90 lbs. after holding onto it for 30 minutes.
The workout was VERY quiet on Wednesday. I know I had a bad day, but for some reason we were not as talkative and the energy level was low. After working out, we went to the steam room, and while we were in there, we were all talking about the workouts and trying to figure out why we were so tired and not "with it". We focused on the fact that we only have 4 more weeks left, and Lorey Bice said "We can do anything for 4 weeks". She is so right. We had done so much in such a short period of time and we had an even shorter time left as a team.
Saturday we had a workout with Travis, and we all truly enjoyed the hardcore cardio!!!!
I'm looking forward to the next three weeks and seeing what we will accomplish both personally and as a team!
