PEORIA, Ill. -- The final challenge in this year's Peoria's Biggest Loser contest was held Saturday.

Seven teams of people weighed in at the RiverPlex before hitting thei trail for a 2-mile run.

Contestant Lynn Berger has already lost 20 pounds.  She says working out with other people trying to slim down helped her reach her goal.

"Its really hard for me to try to do all of that by myself," said Berger.  "In the past I did not have a lot of success trying to do it by myself.  It helps with a group, it helps with trainers."

One of those trainers is Julie Bontz.

"They started out doing one push up and now, in week 10, they're doing 15 in a row.  That's great," said Bontz.  "And being able to jog a half-mile instead of walking a half-mile, it makes me feel so proud to be a personal trainer."

Awards for Peoria's Biggest Loser will be handed out April 13th.
