BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- It's getting extra windy in the twin-cities.
In today's bright side, the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal is getting a grant for more than $100,000 to improve their Imagine Air exhibit.
The exhibit is almost 10 years old and has some outdated information about wind energy.
The new exhibit will feature new facts about wind energy and give kids a chance to make their own model wind turbines.
"They may not know the purpose or scientific principles behind the wind turbines and the fact that they are a form of renewable energy. That is what we are trying to get out," said Museum Manager Sheila Riley.
The new exhibit will be ready for it's grand reveal in September of 2015.
