PEORIA, Ill. -- People at the South Side Mission in Peoria got a rare treat today.
The Little Caesars "Love Kitchen" came to Peoria -- and brought plenty of pizzas with it.
The truck travels around the country serving meals to people in need.
The owner of two local Little Caesars says giving back to the community is just part of their mission as local business owners.
"To see the faces of the people we help is immense,” said Tim McShane, owner of Little Caesars in Pekin and Peoria. “The smiles that go across their face is priceless. It just feels good to give back.”
The Love Kitchen has been doing this all around the country since 1985.
