EL PASO, Ill. -- The Advocates for Young Hearts at El-Paso Gridley High School arranged for free EKG screenings for all its students who wanted to take part.

An EKG is able to detect about 60-percent of heart abnormalities that may cause sudden cardiac death.

A doctor was on site that day to read all the screenings.
