LINCOLN, Ill. -- The Worlds biggest covered wagon will rise again!

Just off Route 66 near Lincoln sits the World's Largest Covered Wagon.

It weighs five ton, sits nearly three stories tall and features a giant Abraham Lincoln riding shotgun.

But the massive carriage was no match for mother nature. A 50 mile per hour gust blew the wagon on it's side back in January.

Since then, crews have been working to get the Route 66 attraction ready for tourist season.

"We have people out here in call kinds of weather, whether it's 100 degrees or 14 degrees, you'll see people pulling up, getting out and taking pictures next to the wagon," said Nancy Saul, Interim Director, Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau.

The record-setting chariot should be good as new by the end of April.
