Celebrate June with 3-A-Day of Dairy from Jennifer DeHoog with the St. Louis District Dairy Council
June is National Dairy Month. It's time to thank
Milk, cheese and yogurt provide a powerful nutrient package of calcium plus eight key nutrients that help nourish your body, not just your bones. Studies show dairy foods when consumed as part of a healthy diet, contribute to better bone health, improve overall diet quality and may help reduce the risk of osteoporosis and high blood pressure. The Dietary Guidelines encourage children and adults to enjoy three servings of low-fat or fat-free milk, cheese or yogurt each day.
Add dairy to your day with this flavorful Mango Curry Chicken Salad with Mozzarella Cheese Cubes.
