Keeping your children entertained during a family night out for dinner can sometimes be tricky.
Eric Shangraw makes a trip to Buffalo Wild Wings... where they cater to the kids on Wednesday nights.
Buffalo Wild Wings is first and foremost a sports bar with good grub and lots of TV's. But on Wednesdays, the kids are as welcome as a big basketball game. A meal for Junior is only 99–cents;
And that includes a drink and smiling French fries.
Take a bite.
–The staff is always friendly, kids love the food. Love to look at, or watch the sports. And love to look at the pictures on the walls.
–The kids get to have a good time with the video games that are here, they enjoy the food. We all enjoy the food.
For close up–hands–on stimulation, those video games are built right into five special tables.
Buffalo Wild Wings is known for its' wide selection of sauces... ranging from mild to super hot....which is refer to as "blaz'in" sauce.
I went with a medium range "sizzl'in" sauce.
Believe it or not, we've had some children come in and order the "blaz'in" wings. And they finish them off, eat them, and seem to enjoy it.
Photographer Joe Bennett is too old for the kids' meal... so he went with the Honey BBQ bacon burger... it's coated in a sweet honey BBQ sauce.
I had ribs that had been coated with another sweet sauce on the grill... along with my boneless wings in "sizzl'in" sauce... and wedge fries coated in a nice seasoning. Little Joe had room for dessert, he "scarfed" down a slice of chocolate peanut butter pie.
Our bill with drinks, 31–dollars plus tip. If your kids like sports, TV, and a little kick from their chicken tenders... Buffalo Wild Wings is worthy of a Wednesday night out. Eric Shangraw News 25.
Buffalo Wild Wings has three locations in our viewing area; Peoria, East Peoria and Bloomington.
All three locations offer children meals for 99–cents on Wednesdays.
