Dubbs and I judged at the Taste of Peoria Wednesday night. He picked the entree and dessert table. I did appetizers and entree. Well organized. We were in a conference room in the second floor of the Gateway Building with about two dozen other folks. Most were professional chefs in the Peoria area or from ICC's Culinary Program. It was blind tasting. We had no idea where the food came from.
One of my favorites was a corn-chowder with kick. Lots of spicy after taste. Afterwards we walked around outside on the Riverfront. Nice event for the City of Peoria. By seven o'clock, it was wall to wall bodies and mouths.
