Jim's is a first-class operation. There is an element of style in this eatery which so many other restaurants try to emulate and typically fail.
The owner, JD Comfort, is almost always present. As he said in part of his interview I did not broadcast, "there is no absentee management in this business."
As I've discovered and witnessed time and time again in this series;
in any good locally owned place, nobody cares about it like the owner.
Comfort cares. You can taste it in the burger.
Even if you need to save a few bucks or skip a drive through once or twice to save your money for a 15 dollar lunch, put a hamburger at Jim's on your bucket-list.
