PEORIA, Ill. -- The American Heart Association says dietary fiber from whole grains, as part of healthy diet, helps reduce blood cholesterol levels and may lower risk of heart disease.

Sandy Gallant got a lesson in which foods have more fiber and whole grains from Doctor John Miller at Unity Point Health Methodist in this week's Get Fit Friday.
