PEORIA, Ill. -- It's a lesson we all got in gym class as kids: stretching before you begin your exercise regimen.

But just as important in preventing fitness-related injuries is being sure to stretch after your workout, too.

Sandy Gallant headed over to Accelerated Rehabilitation Center in Peoria for this week's Get Fit Friday.
