HEYWORTH, Ill. -- During the summer we take the time to check in with our One Class at a Time winners.

Wednesday we checked in with Mr. Seth Klessig at Heyworth Grade School.

Back in August, we surprised Mr. Klessig and his special ed students.

Since then, he has bought an iPad, a sensory table and some adaptive equipment for gym class.

Mr. Klessig says the iPad has really helped his autistic students.

"The iPad is amazing," said Mr. Klessig. "When we started using it, we can get them to talk and do amazing things... work on math, reading. Before, we'd get into an argument, every time we tried."

The stuff that Mr. Klessig bought with his grant money is being shared with other teachers at Heyworth Grade School.

The Cefcu grant has even inspired Mr. Klessig to apply for other state grants.
