PEORIA, Ill. -- Every summer, HOI 19 News goes back to the schools we gave $1,000 grants to, to see how they spent their money.

This time, we re-visit Jamieson School.

Last September, HOI 19 News and CEFCU gave Christine Gottman a $1,000 for her Special Ed. pre-school class.

Ms. Gottman bought four new chairs for her students.

The chairs have seatbelts, which makes it easier for them to stay seated and focused.

"It's frustrating day after day to always have to be be putting kids back in their chairs and then we're losing learning time, too. That's the key why we're here to learn. And if I can have them seated property and attending, then they're trying to learn more than if they're trying to get out of their chair," Ms. Gottman said.

Ms. Gottman says the chairs are lightweight and portable and they adjust to three different sizes.
