Pancetta & Green Apple Pizza

Ingredients

3 green apples, thinly sliced

1 package pancetta

1 red onion

1 cup Havarti cheese, shredded

Pizza Sauce

1 12-to 14-inch Pizza Crust

Directions

1. Prepare crust as instructed on package.

2. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on crust.

3. Add apple slices, red onion and pancetta rounds.

4. Top with cheese

5. Bake or Grill about 5 – 7 minutes or until heated through and crust bottom is crisp and brown. Remove from oven. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Cut into wedges to serve. Makes one 13- to 15-inch pizza (four 2-wedge servings).

Heirloom Pesto Pizza

Ingredients

1 12-to 14-inch Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

1/3 cup basil pesto

2 cup grilled chicken, prepared with Italian seasoning

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)

2 medium fresh garden heirloom, cored and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices or 1 cup mixed baby tomatoes.

1/2 to 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh oregano

Directions

1. Prepare whole wheat crust as instructed on package.

2. Spread pesto evenly over crust. Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange tomato slices and chicken over cheese. Sprinkle with oregano.

3. Bake about 8 to 10 minutes more or until heated through and crust bottom is crisp and brown. (Or grill as directed.) Remove from oven. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Cut into wedges to serve. Makes one 13- to 15-inch pizza (four 2-wedge servings).
