CDC says new strain of the flu on the way

If you were lucky enough to escape the winter without getting the flu, you are not out of the woods yet.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports a second wave of influenza is on the rise especially in the Northeast and some mid-Atlantic states.

This time it is influenza-B which is different from the strains that spread earlier in the flu season.

The CDC says the second wave of flu typically peters out in May.
