PEORIA, Ill. -- Every year, countless numbers of women face a variety of health issues, everything from breast cancer or heart trouble to issues with their reproductive system and everything in between.
One of those issues is breast cancer.
Cheryl Biltgen wants to remind women to get their mammograms done.
She is living proof that early detection keeps you alive.
Biltgen has what doctors call dense breast tissue and says a special program in Peoria caught her cancer early.
She is now cancer free but still has her six month mammogram and sonogram done.
Monday evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., doctors from OSF will answer your calls related to women's health issues. The number to call is 698-3742.
