Salmonella fears prompt a bagged salad recall, a product the company says was sold in 15 states including Illinois.

Dole fresh vegetables is recalling 756 cases of "Dole Seven Lettuces Salad." The bags have a use-by date of April 11, 2012.

So far, no illnesses have been linked to the salad, but salmonella was found in a random sample test in New York State.

If you have the salad, experts advise you to throw it out.
