Food allergies on the rise for African Americans

Children's food allergies are on the rise and a new study finds the increase is most dramatic among African Americans.

Self-reported food allergies have nearly doubled in African American children over the past 23 years.

Scientists say while African Americans typically have higher levels of allergy-related antibodies, this bump in food allergies is relatively recent.
