CENTRAL ILLINOIS – Local health departments are asking patients to just stay at home as temperatures are expected to drop to dangerous levels in the coming days.

Both the Peoria City/County Health Department and the Tazewell County Health Department are asking patients to reschedule appointments set for Monday and Tuesday, especially appointments for children and the elderly since they are more susceptible to the cold.

To reschedule any Health Department clinic services in Peoria County, call direct to WIC 309-679-6076, Dental 309-679-6141, Immunizations 309-679-6655.

In Tazewell County call WIC at 309-925-5511, ext 235 or Dental Center at 309-382-2229.
