Knox County Health Department receives $700,000 grant

GALESBURG, Ill. -- The Knox County Health Department is getting more than $700,000 to continue to provide services to residents.

Congresswoman Cheri Bustos announced Friday the health department will get $716,000 total.

The grant is from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Center Cluster Program.

The Knox County Health Department plans to use the money for affordable medical and dental care.
