The Pekin Public Library will have a program on Medication Safety on
Thursday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the library's Community Room.
Problems with medication management are the primary reason people can no longer live on their own and many people are readmitted to
hospitals within 30 days because of drug interactions or not properly
following prescription instructions.
You can learn how to prevent these issues and how to properly manage your medication in a presentation by the Central Illinois Agency on Aging's Geriatric Care Managers.
For more information, please call the library's Youth Services
Department at 347-7111 ext. 3.
This presentation is funded in part by a grant from the Department of Human Services Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
