McLean County Health Department offers free flu clinics for the uninsured

MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. – The McLean County Health Department is teaming up with Walgreens to offer free flu vaccines for the uninsured.

Flu shots are available to uninsured individuals age 14.

Wednesday, November 13 at the Salvation Army, 601 W. Washington, Bloomington, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Thursday, November 14 at Bloomington Township/John M. Scott Health Resources Center, 607 S. Gridley, Suite C, Bloomington, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Monday, November 18 at Home Sweet Home Mission, 303 E. Oakland Ave., Bloomington, from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday, November 20 at The Hub in conjunction with Immanuel Health Center, 502 S. Morris, Suite G, Bloomington, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Wednesday, December 4 at the Community Health Care Clinic, 902 N. Franklin Avenue, Normal, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; clinic is closed for lunch from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Residents will also be able to pick up information about the Affordable Care Act and speak with in-person ACA Counselors about their healthcare options through the marketplace.
