Methodist MedPointe in Pekin to Close on Weekends

A local walk-in clinic says it is temporarily changing its weekend hours.

Patients who normally use Methodist Medpointe, 1800 Broadway in Pekin, have been asked to use Methodist Medical Group in Morton, starting October 15.

The health facility will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, with Monday through Friday hours remaining unchanged.

Mike Jones, Executive Director for Methodist Medical Group Operations says the change is necessary to allow for scheduling changes with physicians and staff.

Jones apologized for any inconvenience the change may cause.
