More skin cancer awareness needed for minorities

Leading dermatologists say more awareness about skin cancer is needed for minorities.

The problem is that most minorities believe they are at low risk for skin cancer.

The most common skin cancer among minorities, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, is highly curable with early detection.

But research shows African Americans and Hispanics are diagnosed at a more advanced stage of skin cancer because of this lack of awareness.
