BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington is being honored for their great nursing services.

This is the second time since 2008 the hospital has received the magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

OSF is leading the pack in McLean County as the first hospital to get the honor in the area and only the 37th in the state of Illinois.

Magnet Recognition lasts four years during which time the ANCC monitors the hospital closely to ensure it maintains high standards of care.
