BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Monday’s snow storm forced the Red Cross to cancel another blood drive.

The blood drive is the latest of more than 1,000 blood drives that had to be cancelled in January and February due to severe weather.
That has resulted in about 35,000 uncollected blood and platelet donations.
The Red Cross needs blood and platelet donors to help restock the shelves in February. They are asking residents of all blood types to make an appointment to donate once the weather clears up.
To make an appointment call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit
