Study identifies most "germy" thing in a doctor's office

A new study finds one of the most "germy" things in a doctor's office is a stethoscope.

Swiss researchers looked at the amount of bacteria on stethoscopes and compared it to what's found on doctors' hands.

The diaphragm of the stethoscopes was more contaminated than the palm of the physicians' hands.

Researchers said this should serve as a helpful reminder to health care workers to sterilize their stethoscopes frequently.
