In your happiness matters: drawings… a key to your personality?

Do your choices tell something about your personality? Dr. Joy Miller shares some fun personality tests with us to see if we can discover something about our personalities.

Gina: Tonight you have two tests for us, and I think the first one has to do with how our choice of ice cream flavors affects our personality.

Joy: Pick a favorite ice cream flavor and see what it says about your personality.

• Vanilla
• Chocolate
• Butter pecan
• Banana
• Strawberry
• Chocolate chip

Joy says: Study by Dr. Alan Hirsh the director of the neurological smell and taste research foundation in Chicago. So here’s some Food for thought.

Vanilla- you are impulsive and a risk taker who has high goals and expectations of yourself (you know black and white thinkers). You enjoy close relationships with family and life a hectic life

Chocolate- you are lively, creative, dramatic and charming. You like being the center of attention and can get bored with the routine. You enjoy friendships and intimate relationships

Butter pecan- you are orderly, perfectionist, careful and detailed. You tend to be competitive and aggressive in sports and fiscally conservative.

Banana- you are easy going, well adjusted, generous, honest and empathetic

Strawberry- you are shy, skeptical, opinionated, and self-critical. You can be emotionally robust but you can feel pessimistic and feel guilty at times

Chocolate chip- you are generous, competitive and accomplished. You are great in social situations and a visionary and enjoy being catered to, and intolerant of defeat.

Gina: And you have a very simple little drawing for us to copy on paper, which tells something about us. Will you show us the picture?

One more just for fun… draw this picture on a piece of paper.

JOY: If you drew from the center outward. You are conventional and the type who learns from starting with small things that are specific and then expanding to things that are generalizations. Your desire is towards what lies beyond your horizon

If you drew from the edge inward- you are the type of person who has an emphasis on concentration and control. You tend to be oblivious of what is going around you and you want to be reliable and productive in a dependable way.
