It's the 25th of the month, the day when we remind you to do your breast self–exam and ask you to remind a buddy to do theirs as well.
Here's another reminder, registration for the Peoria Ride for the Cure is underway.
Instead of the usual Mother's Day weekend ride, this year participants will come together on Saturday, May 16th to support loved ones in their breast cancer battle.
The parade of motorcycles takes off from the Shoppes at Grand Prairie at Noon that day and ends at the riverfront.
Ride for the Cure co–founder Geri Shurts says all proceeds will stay in central Illinois.
"Our profit will be divided among the Women's Diagnostic Center at Pekin Hospital; the Methodist Breast Health Center; and the OSF St. Francis Center for Breast Health. And then the other fourth of it will go to the Peoria Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for research," said Shurts.
In a time when your dollars may be stretched thin, entry for the ride is also less expensive this year.
