HIFU is not for everyone who has prostate cancer. But, in selected individuals it can be an ideal choice of therapy. It is truly an amazing technology with more benefits than risks in my opinion.

Hello, I was told by my dr. that nilandron in one of the medicine he wanted me to use. After doing some research on it I discover some of the side effect is a concern to me. I did not like that at all so I decided to go another way my psa levels are 500 that my only system right now that I notice. Can you offer any advice for me.

I have a small, aparently non-aggressive prostate cancer combined with an enlarged prostate. If this clinical trial is approved, how long before this will be available as an accepted treatment for prostate treatment and will this be able to be used for prostate reduction? Thanks.

I am a 68 year old male diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer. My Biopsy Gleason Sum is Grade 7. I am in good health with no adverse health issues. Would HIFU be an optional treatment in my case, and what are the known side effects?
