PEORIA, Ill. -- If you love to dance but don't have a good dance partner, consider your four-legged friend.

The Barking Ballroom performers came to show off their moves at the Peoria Public Library today.

The canine group travels across the Midwest to showcase their creative forms of dance with dogs of all sizes.

Kids and parents attended the free event.

They were even able to do a meet-and-greet with the four-legged dancers.

"The dogs love this. Dogs that are really shy or don't like to do some other forms of training love this," said dancer and trainer Judy Gullickson.

The group plans to compete in the Musical Freestyle competition in August.
