BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- A woman has died after a two-car collision in Bloomington Tuesday morning.

The McLean County Coroner’s Office says Judith V. Covington, 35, of Le Roy, Illinois was pronounced deceased at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center shortly after 9 a.m.

The preliminary cause of her death is being attributed to multiple blunt force injuries, specifically of the head and chest. Forensic toxicology tests will be ordered.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after 9 a.m. where a pick-up truck and motorcycle had collided.

The driver of the pick-up truck was uninjured.

According to the McLean County Coroner, preliminary evidence indicates the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Ireland Grove Road and crossing Towanda Barnes when it collided with the eastbound pick-up truck also traveling on Ireland Grove Road.

Judy had been an employee of Randstad Technologies since May 2011 and was assigned at State Farm in Bloomington. Initial information indicates that she was headed to work this morning when the crash occurred.
