NORMAL, Ill. --  A local business went head to head with some sharks on Friday.

Sisters Julia and Joan own the 'Cookie Dough Cafe' in Normal.

They pitched their jarred cookie dough, which is safe to eat uncooked due to a lack of eggs, on the ABC show "Shark Tank."

They were hoping for a $50,000 investment for a 20% share of the company.

But two sharks were interested in the product, so they joined forces.

They gave the girls double their investment, $100,00 for a 30% stake in the company.

"We're so excited and happy we got a deal. We feel like it will build our brand 10 times faster then we could of done on our own. 100 times faster," said the two sisters.

The girls said the money will go to help automate the packing process.

They're also hoping their new business partners will help them get into new markets.
