BLOOMINGTON, Ill -- There will be some changes soon at the Central Illinois Regional Airport.
An airport spokesperson said they continue to re-build after losing Airtran in the summer of 2012.
That came after their busiest year ever in 2011 with almost 560,000 passengers.
With four airlines right now, they had almost 430,000 passengers last year.
The spokesperson said they are always looking to bring in additional services or airlines.
Currently they are working on a new baggage system that would allow them to handle twice the number of bags. Additionally, some airport property will likely be developed, as much as 700 acres.
