A friend of murder victim MeLisa Cleary of Mackinaw testified Wednesday that MeLisa was planning to leave her husband on the weekend of her death.

Daniel Cleary is charged with his wife's killing.

Nicole Simpson, MeLisa's friend, testified MeLisa told her Daniel said he would kill her before letting her out of their marriage.

Much of Wednesday's testimony concerned the last day MeLisa was seen alive, June 6, 2008.

Steve Golden, who picked up his child from MeLisa's daycare center, says MeLisa appeared to have been crying.

Stephanie Sanford says MeLisa was anxious and upset, and when MeLisa failed to meet her on Saturday, she called the Cleary home.

Stephenie Sanford says Daniel Cleary told her MeLisa wasn't home, and then said: "Creepy, isn't it"?

The Trial resumes Thursday.
