TOULON, Ill. -- The only grocery store in a small central Illinois community burst into flames Friday night.

Fire crews were called to the Super Valu market in Toulon early this afternoon.

They immediately called for mutual aid and all fire departments within a 35-mile radius were on the scene.

The Toulon fire chief says the hardest part was trying to find the main source of the fire.

"Basically, staying hydrated and rotating shifts out as much as we can. That's part of the reason we've got so much extra man power here, because to just help out with getting crews rehabbed and back fighting the fight," said Toulon fire chief Andy Colgan.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

No injuries were reported.

The building is a total loss.
