PEORIA, Ill -- Some Peoria residents are voicing concerns over accessibility to some Park District facilities on Peoria's south side.

It came up at Wednesday's park district meeting.

Residents say the price to rent the Trewyn Park Pavilion has jumped this year, making it too expensive for many south side residents to use.

A park board member Robert Johnson says the price increase was included in this year's budget.

Still, he agrees the higher price may be prohibiting some residents from enjoying the resource.

He expects the issue to come up again at the next Park Board meeting.
